Powdered Caffeine - The Bitter Stimulant

Powdered caffeine aka caffeine powder, anhydrous caffeine, caffeine and synthetic caffeine is a brain stimulating substance. Natural caffeine extracted from coffee beans is different from synthetic caffeine that comes in the pharmaceutical grade type.

Powdered caffeine is an immensely bitter white crystalline powder used for its psychoactive stimulant properties. Since it acts as a stimulant for the brain, its implementation of the mechanism of action used by amphetamines, heroin and cocaine makes it a substance that can cause addiction. Although pure  powdered caffeine may be obtained through online stores and health stores, caffeine can be ingested through the consumption of coffee, tea, soft drinks, and sports or energy drinks. The Food and Drug Authority to control the use of this drug only when used as food additive. That's why the producers of food and beverages are required by law to be labeled when using caffeine as an ingredient in their products. However, when this substance is related to the parties involved in the manufacture of a foodstuff, such as when added to chocolate candy, the announcement is not necessary.
